   Hi to my dearest bloggers! Today, we will meet Trello, your productivity ally! This visual collaboration platform simplifies task management, making projects a breeze. With intuitive boards and seamless collaboration features, Trello transforms the way you work. 📊✨🚀

    Trello is a project management tool where we can keep track of and organize our work and daily schedules. It allows you to see and organize all what you do & will do in future. It can include sticky notes, images, links or files. You can name your board, and add a descrpition about it. There are many backgrounds for your board!

    To create an account on Trello you need to sign up either with your e-mail or Google/Facebook accounts and you will fill in the blanks with your personal informations. Also, you can add your students by writing their e-mails. Then, you will start by creating a board. It is like a online-reminder, so it will help you to adjust your works more properly :)

    Quizlet is an application that aims to teach people the words in the language they aim to learn. Quizlet has mostly free features, but you can purchase premium account for more sections if you wish. For example, creating cards with sound and picture is only available on premium accounts. You write the words on the cards, and you can make as many card sets as you want. You can reach new card sets, and also you can look previous card sets later again.

    Learning vocabulary of target language is the main step of learning foreign languages. Quizlet helps us in that moment: It is designed for memorizing words in an easier way. You can reach words on flashcards and their pronunciations. So, you will have a chance to improve your lexicon and listening skills. In the “Learn” section, you write the words that are showed to you. It's a good way of teaching languages! 

    As a teacher, you can start by creating a class for your students. After sign in, you fill in the blanks and share your class link with your students. It can also be connected with Google classroom!

Our partnership with students from Complutense University in Spain proved to be an invaluable experience. In Turkey, English-speaking opportunities are scarce, but through this collaboration, our communication skills flourished. Embracing the chance to speak confidently, the joy of being understood was truly the highlight. Not only did we gain insights into Spain's education system and culture, but we also delved into interactive projects like Storybook, igniting our enthusiasm for integrating technology into future lectures. This project stands as a remarkable avenue for connecting with diverse cultures! 🌍🤝✨

    Jamboard is an interactive whiteboard created by Google. With Jamboard, you can add Google’s any feature to your board and share it with your students simultaneously. It is very easy to use: you can write, erase and add anything you want. You can add pictures besides the texts. You can share it with your students and allow them to edit it or express their thoughts/ideas about the topic you talk about. Moreover, it is saved automatically to your Drive, so you don’t have to do anything for saving your Jamboard. 

    You can start to use Jamboard by creating a Google account. Then you can search Jamboard on Google and can create a Jamboard! You can use it in any lecture you want. It helps brainstorming and understanding your student’s capability. You can reach it anywhere & anytime you want! I hope you like it.

    Flipgrid empowers students to showcase their learning skills through engaging video responses. Teachers and peers can effortlessly access, view, and provide feedback on these submissions, all neatly organized under the specified topic created by the teacher. The best part? It's free and easily accessible via both mobile phones and the website, making collaborative and interactive learning a seamless experience for all. Join the Flipgrid community and revolutionize your educational journey through the power of video expression. 🎥🌐

    Teachers can simply gather information about their students' understanding and progress using Flipgrid. As they debate their ideas and experiences with their peers on Flipgrid, students build and strengthen social learning communities. Flipgrid allows you to communicate with your pupils through videos rather than text. You can develop a topic and have them respond to it in videos.

   To start to Flipgrid, first, we sign up with our gmail, e-mail, or microsoft account. It asks you if you are student or teacher, we choose "teacher account". On the screen, we click on "+Group" section, there will be two area, "create a group" or "join a group". We create a group by filling in the blanks. You can choose who can join the class, and also share link/QR code with anyone you want to add. Or you can send e-mail, and also it can be connected with your Google Classroom. I hope it would be beneficial in your lectures!

    Greetings, everyone! Ever felt confined to a specific moment and place during teaching? The good news is, there's a whole new world to explore while educating, and it's called the "Second World." Join me in unraveling the possibilities that extend beyond traditional boundaries in the realm of teaching. 🌐📚✨

    Second life is an online virtual world where you can create your own avatar and have a chance to communicate with new people, moreover it is free! As an educational purpose, you can create your own virtual classroom with this application and make your lecture in there. Your students can express themselves more clearly with avatars, and it will help them to do role plays in different world. You can speak and move in Second Life and communicate with other avatars. In Second Life, you can visit wherever you want: to a painting, historical place, inside of computer etc. So, it would be very beneficial to take your students to places where they cannot see in their real life. It will make your lectures more interesting. For example, if you talk about a chapel in Spain, with the help of Second Life, they can see there!

    Let’s look how we create our second life account. First, we go to the Second Life’s website and sign in. After you fill up your personal information, it automatically installs the application to your computer. When you open it, you log in and then you can change your avatar’s appearance, communicate with other avatars, or visit wherever you want. I hope you like Second Life and use it in your lectures!

    Hello my dearest bloggers! Today's post is all about Pear Deck, an interactive presentation platform reshaping classroom dynamics. Tailored for educators, it seamlessly integrates with tools like Google Slides, turning lessons into real-time, participatory experiences. With features like draggable responses and drawing tools, Pear Deck makes teaching an interactive and enjoyable journey. 🍐📚👩‍🏫

    Pear Deck, a powerful web 2.0 tool, elevates your Google Slides presentations, transforming them into interactive experiences that foster active student participation. This innovative platform encourages both individual and collaborative learning, departing from traditional teaching methods like paper note-taking. Students can conveniently store their notes using Google Drive. To captivate attention, enhance your slides with compelling videos, audio clips, or images, leveraging Pear Deck's technology-friendly features. Embrace a dynamic and engaging approach to education with Pear Deck, bridging the gap between traditional and tech-driven teaching methods. 

    You can either sign up with your Google account or your Microsoft Account. Then you should choose your account type: teacher, student etc. I choose to join with my Google account as a teacher. After that, Peardeck wants your post code and school. When you complete all these informations, finally your Peardeck account will be completed! You can create a Peardeck lesson, Flashcard factory, or launch a quick prompt after sign in. You can also connect your Pear Deck account to your Google Drive and continue your lessons with Google Slides! When you click on “present a file from Drive”, you can be able to show your slides on there to the students. You can share your your link with them to participate interactively, or just show your code to join !

    With this app, when you create a slides presentation, you can add multiple choice questions into your slides, or add a space in which your students can write down their thoughts and answers. It would help them to express themselves more confidently and clearly. It is a good way of interactive classroom teaching!

    Infographic is a visual representation of any kind of information or data. Infographics can help you present the information in the form of an attractive visual graphic. It helps learner to understand the given topic not only in a simple way, but also makes it easy to remember. Infographics are different from brochures in terms of being mainly digital. It could be one or two pages, not more. As a teacher, you can create various infographics about your lectures. These infographics will capture your student's attention and speed up the rate at which information is processed. 

    Canva is an effective application on that process. It is very easy to create your infographic: Just sign up to Canva and choose “infographic” section to start. It has so many templates that you can choose any according to your wish. To facilitate the selection, Canva categorizes the templates according to their topics; you can search your main topic and find the most suitable template. You can add texts, pictures, shapes, stickers etc. Finally, you can share it with anyone, or keep it private!

    Hello to the best followers! Today's topic is a "Powtoon" which is a user-friendly online platform for creating vibrant and animated presentations. 🚀🎨📊

    Powtoon is a web 2.0 tool that helps you to create animations on which topic you want. It is like animated presentations; the name comes from blending of “PowerPoint” and “Cartoon”. Powtoon is very easy to use; it has teaching videos on the website. After you create your account, you can start your project. It has free and premium account types. With the help of Powtoon, you can create animated explainer, whiteboard video, presentations, marketing video, branded character, screen & cam recording, infographics, and videos from PowerPoint. 

    We choose to create animated explainer. There are many templates to use, and also you can select pictures, shapes, texts etc. The time of animation can be changed according to your wish. You can share your animations with anyone you want, or you can keep it private. If you want to download it as an mp4, you have to have premium account. Enjoy your animations :)

    Greetings, everyone! Let's seamlessly progress with the development of our digital portfolio application, "Seesaw." 💫

    Seesaw is a digital portfolio application that allows students to create electronic portfolios by adding photos, videos, drawings, texts, and links. It also gives teachers opportunity to create online classes for their students. In Seesaw app, you can also create your class by importing it from Google Classroom. Electronic portfolios in Seesaw can be accessed by students, teachers, and parents and it helps better interaction between school and families. Teachers can give feedbacks on student’s works via Seesaw, and also parents get the chance to follow their child’s progress at school.

    Teacher makes his students to log in classes by their gmails, also they can use classroom code to join the classes. Students who enter to the class can take photos and videos for their electronic portfolios, save their drawings, and add their work and written files in the library. Moreover, students can record sound, draw, and write on the photographs. In Seesaw, you can assign more than one teacher to the same class by clicking “manage teachers” section. In “activities” section, teachers can see what their students did as an assignment. If they want to announce something, teachers use “inbox” section. Teacher can make audio or written comments to student’s works. Seesaw will help you to keeping up with technology in your classes!
